Dug North completed the following pieces as part of his December 4 final project exhibit in History of Communications Technology seminar. North is a master's student in Science and Technology Studies. He has been working on photography and mixed media montages for several years. He said he came to Rensselaer to explore the relationship between technology and culture, but he found his studies fueling his creative ideas as well.

This summer North will take an internship at The Loka Institute, a political activist group advocating more democratic control of science and technology. However, North feels his career is moving in the direction of creating montage visual art.
